Poster for an exhibition regarding the devastating earthquake in Sichuan. I mixed two images with the intention of creating a new, unseen one. One is chrysanthemums, which in Chinese culture represent hope - light in the dark - simply because they bloom in autumn (the dark season); and the other is a panda, Sichuan's most famous icon, with the many panda nurseries. White and iriodin silkscreen print on black paper.
