2012

The Red exhibition was the first in the MetaÆther series, and opened its doors in 2012, in Mannheim. In 2014 MetaÆther Green followed in Heidelberg. The final chapter, MetaÆther Blue, will conclude the cycle. The exhibition was the first major ætherdesign project, and processed the groups feelings towards the way society is progressively tearing down borders online. Each piece of work took a unique approach in dealing with the issue of digital vulnerability. A booklet accompanying exhibition brought together random web images, web text snippets and free lyrical works.
