Visual concept / poster for Cyberpunk Symposium at ZKM Karlsruhe. Inspired by Rutger Hauers brilliant, improvised "Tears in Rain" monologue in Bladerunner (and watching the mobile phone screen in the rain while smoking on the balcony). The interpenetration and mutual influence of natural and technical realities, the contradiction that need not be one, the hypocritical warmth of synthetic light. Can truth be artificial?
